Parry's Primrose

Parry's Primrose
(Primula parryi)

This plant is quite rare and hard to find. It grows in rocky places where there is moisture, such as at the base of alpine cliffs.
The flowers are a deep rose in color, with a yellow center. They have an unpleasant odor, possibly to attract flies which aid in the pollination of the plant.
