Meadowrue
(Thalictrum fendleri)

A low-growing plant with lush bluish green, double compound leaves. It grows at high elevations on moist hillsides and in aspen groves.

Male and female flowers occur on separate plants. On the left is a plant with male (staminate) flowers. The photo below shows the bristly female flowers.
