Fernbush (Desert-Sweet)

(Chamaebatiaria millefolium)

A shrub, about five feet tall, with aromatic fern-like foliage. A group of these shrubs were found growing along a roadside on a dry rocky hillside among pinyons and junipers.

The tiny white flowers have 5 petals, and are less than a half inch across. They bloom in showy clusters from mid to late summer.
