Brief update on life since leaving Tooele High School:
1957 -- graduated from Holy Cross Hospital School of Nursing
in Salt Lake City, Utah.
1958 -- married Albert Don Matteoni in Ely, Nevada. We had
three boys -- Donnie, Kevin, and Jeff.
1966 -- Moved to Reno, Nevada
1967 to 1994 -- Worked at Washoe Medical Center, in the
intensive care unit for 27 years.
1994 -- Retired.
In 1991 my oldest son Donnie was killed when the Care Flight
helicopter he was on crashed in Bridgeport, CA, on Thanksgiving
day. He was a Flight EMT II.
Kevin, my second son, is a fireman for Sparks, Nevada, and
is a registered nurse.
My youngest son, Jeff, is an orthopedic surgeon in Reno.
