Barbara Green

Barbara was born 16 February 1934.

She was a Registered Nurse, and was the first in San Diego to treat AIDS patients.

She was an accomplished oil painter. She painted a picture of a Black Santa Claus for a church in Watts, California. The painting was stolen off the wall of the church during the Watts riots.

Barbara Green Thron died of cancer on 16 February 1996. Her body was cremated, and was buried in the Grantsville cemetery.
